PERFECT STOPOVER
The Right Stop on Your Route

WHY STAY HERE
Better Than a Parking Lot
Most overnight RV stops in the Omaha metro mean a Walmart lot or a highway-adjacent park-n-ride. Merritt Beach is the alternative — a real campground, a real lake, for roughly the same price.
Wake up to water, not traffic
The park is set back from the highway with lake frontage. You’re 30 minutes from Omaha without looking or sounding like it.
Full hookups every site
Every pad has water and electric. No dry camping. No rationing your generator through the night.
Offutt AFB & Bellevue area access
Contractors, military families, and TDY personnel use Merritt Beach regularly. It’s 15 minutes from the base — a convenient overnight or multi-night option.
Community feel, not a staging lot
Merritt Beach has 125 permanent sites and a real community. Overnight guests are welcome within that context. It feels like camping, not parking.
Everything you need within 5 miles
Hy-Vee grocery, restaurants, a bait shop, and gas stations are all within a short drive. Stock up before you settle in for the evening.

Do overnight guests have lake access?
Yes. Overnight guests have access to both the swimming lake and the stocked fishing lake during their stay, within posted operating hours and rules.
When is the overnight season open?
The camping season at Merritt Beach runs April 1 through October 31. Overnight sites are available throughout the season subject to availability — contact the campground to check specific dates.
Can I book multiple nights at the overnight rate?

What hookups are available for overnight guests?

Is this a good stop for I-29 / Hwy 75 travelers?
